Welcome

“The Family Life Centre is here to support families in our city. We believe a child’s first years are crucial for their development.

The Church has a unique role in supporting families; the FLC is a practical expression of God’s heart for the city of Lancaster.

This is why we have established an early years parenting group (PEEP); a support group for the carers of children struggling with trauma; and are developing a listening service. We are also working with partner agencies in the city - including HMP Lancaster - and across the UK.

God has given us an exciting vision for the future, and it is our prayer that you will find a warm welcome and a place to belong. Please contact me if any of what we do interests you.”

A PEEP parent

“I've really enjoyed having a structured group to go to, meeting other parents and getting ideas for things to do with my girl, feeling reassured that I can make a difference for her through small and simple everyday things.”

A PEEP parent:

“My little one has enjoyed the songs and the toys and taking all the books off the bookshelves!! Peep was one of her first words and she loves going, whenever we talk about peep she does the sign for friends which is really sweet. It's a really nice group and it's made a big difference to me and my girl”
