Maternity Cover for the Youth Coordinator
As this is a maternity cover post, the successful applicant will be expected to deliver these roles and responsibilities in line with the current vision for the Youth Ministry, but will not be expected to bring major innovations to the vision or strategy of the role within the timescale.

The Youth Coordinator (Maternity Leave) will line-manage and be supported by an Assistant Youth Minister , and is also expected to oversee interns training on the New Wine Discipleship Year scheme.
The preferred start date for the maternity cover post is 1st July 2018. Our Youth Coordinator is due to start maternity leave on 16th July 2018, allowing a two-week handover. The maternity cover role is predicted to continue until the end of February half-term (24th Feb 2019), though it might be extended up to a maximum of 12 months.
Once the period of maternity cover finishes, there may be a possibility of continuing on staff as Assistant Youth Minister on a part-time basis.
This maternity cover role is a part-time post for 30 hours a week with an annual salary of £20,661 pro-rata (i.e. ¾ time, based on Point 22 on the NJC payscale).
